Corpevent.ca is a directory website. You can browse everything on the Site without creating an account or providing any personal information. This policy explains what we collect when you choose to use our forms, and what we do with it.

1. What we collect

We collect information only when you submit it through the Site's forms, such as the list-your-business application (business name, contact person, email, phone, website and a description of the business). We do not run user accounts and we do not collect payment information — the Site sells nothing.

2. How we use it

Business application details are used to review and, if approved, publish the listing. We may email you about your own submission. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your details for unrelated marketing.

3. Email delivery and hosting

Form submissions are stored for us and may be delivered to us by email, in both cases through third-party service providers, and the Site is hosted on third-party infrastructure. These processors handle data on our behalf under their own security practices; we share with them only what is needed to operate the Site.

4. Cookies and analytics

The Site does not require cookies to browse. If we use analytics, it is aggregate traffic measurement (pages visited, general region) — not profiles of identifiable individuals.

5. Business listing information

Directory listings describe businesses, not private individuals, and are compiled from publicly available sources and provider submissions, as described in our Terms of Use. If you represent a listed business and want your information corrected or removed, email us and we will act promptly.

6. Retention and your rights

We keep form submissions only as long as needed to handle them and for reasonable record-keeping. You can ask us at any time what information we hold from your submissions, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, in line with Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA).
